    Hey man do you still rock the S5? Did you ever miss the G9? :)

    • @ByranDigital
      @ByranDigital 14 дней назад

      @@stradbam hey, I actually don’t use the S5 anymore. I’ve had the Canon R6 and now have the So y A7RIV. After using full frame I can’t say I’d ever go back to MFT but the G9 is still one of the best cameras I’ve ever used. I love Panasonic as a brand and I’d be using the S5IIX if it made sense for me to. Unfortunately because I use Sony in my full time work it makes sense for me to use Sony.

    • @stradbam
      @stradbam 14 дней назад

      @@ByranDigital Allright cool. I suppose you don’t miss MFT because of poor low light performance? I think I want to do the same switch as you did, ditch my MFT collection and get a compact full format instead. It’s such a jungle because you really have to choose one brand or another. I thought that being used to Lumix MFT’s perhaps that’s the easiest to choose in full frame as well, but then you might miss out on what the other brands offer, lol. Do you have any favourite brand now?

    • @ByranDigital
      @ByranDigital 12 дней назад

      @@stradbam Yes for that reason and also the depth of field you can get with a full frame is just superior. And yes I get you, it's a minefield. I have a very special place in my heart for Panasonic and if you already use that brand then i think the S5II is a great value camera. Panasonics biggest weak point was its autofocus but they've addressed this with the S5II. It is also cheaper than similar cameras from other brands. The only brands I'd ever use for professional work would be Canon, Panasonic and Sony. Canon is my favourite for Ergonomics, Panasonic is my favourite for value and features and Sony is my favourite for versatility and lens selection.

    “Take a look at this coin” Me watching before putting my contacts in: 🪩 👀 Seriously though thanks for doing this! I always appreciate personal stories about keratoconus. One thing I realized recently is that I was so grateful to have been diagnosed at this point in history, where I could get cross linking and the scleral lenses, that I didn’t take the time to grieve the loss of my regular vision. I am aware of how lucky I am relative to other sufferers because I know how devestating even minor changes in vision can be. It was hard to accept that I’ve missed out on detail for the past 5 years or so, and that even though I’ve adjusted to life with sclerals, there was a lot of pain along the way that I couldn’t quite articulate. Anyways, I truly wish the best for everyone out there struggling

Keratoconus is not fun at all. Thinking about getting scleral lenses but They freak Me out because I’m so used to My small lenses 😅.

    Keratakonus is a very sad disease. We live with trying to deal with our deteriorating sight everyday..unlike people who are born blind we have the beauty and blessing to see at full hd, only to have it be slowly taken away from us. I try not to think about it, but the sudden change every other year makes it hard to try to accept that eventually you'll be blind. For my case it was self diagnosed. I rubbed my eyes so much in highschool due to OCD I lost the vision in my right side. And now only have 20/50 with corrected lenses. I know I'll go blind in the future, but I will create SO MUCH ART before I go blind that I'll have people wonder what I could a done had I been blessed with 20/20 vision..God bless you all, and I hope you get through this anxiety. All love

      Hi, I'm doing alright thanks. Still pretty much the same all these years later. My left eye is still very good. Right eye still bad not sure if its any worse but I get by mostly with glasses. I do have an RGP lens but the hassle of it I don't think is worth it for me.

    I’ve never actually told anyone my story so I’m going to use this platform to share. I was diagnosed with Keratoconus when I was 15 I think, I had it in both eyes but my left eye was worse than my right. I had a cornea transplant when I turned 18 in my left eye. I am now 29 and my eyes are getting worse. I currently wear glasses but I only use them for my left eye. I can’t see a thing out of my right eye. I previously used contacts for my right eye until they stopped working for me as the lense got thicker and more uncomfortable as my vision worsened: Now I just rely on glasses for my left eye. I’ve had to change my glasses 3 times within 2 years. It’s costing me a lot of $$ and I’m worried for my eyes. What will happen in the next 10 years 😢 I’m only 29 now. All I can do now is pray and hope that this won’t impact my life.! I’m just glad I’m not the only one going through this 💕 Stay strong Keratoconus fam 💪

    Do you deal with head pressure or anxiety from kertaconus? If so what do you do? Does not wearing the lense help to soothe this for you I think that’s what it does for me at least. If anyone has any words on this I’d appreciate it

    • @ByranDigital
      @ByranDigital Год назад

      Hello, no head pressure or anxiety. Sometimes I get by without any visual aid but just because my left eye is so good. Don't get me wrong wearing a lens does improve the vision greatly in my right eye but ehrn both my eyes are open I can get by fine without and prefer the convenience of just wearing glasses when I need to as opposed to having to worry about lenses.

    • @vishalhira2244
      @vishalhira2244 Год назад

      Well , for me there are bad days where one of the lenses is uncomfortable due to dry eyes, causing anxiety, that day i just wear 1 lense , the comfortable one, and get through my day with partial vision.

    Thanks for a sensibly balanced and objective take on the hatfishing phenomenon. I find it perplexing how some wo men condemn men for this practice. But if a man was critical of a lady who has a false boob to disguise their mastectomy, he would be labelled as an insensitive crass pig.

    Men have all these standards for women but yet they can bot accept going bald I guess that's how people do when they're mad at themselves they want to blame women for their problems. My Grandad was 94 years old when he passed away when he had a head full of hair so I laugh at these dudes in their twenties and thirties hatfishing

    • @ByranDigital
      @ByranDigital 3 года назад

      Both men and women have their standards and both face their own insecurities. Whether it’s baldness for men or cellulite for women. Neither is anything to be ashamed of but if people choose to take actions to hide these insecurities then that’s their choice. Putting on a hat is no different than putting on make-up. Both are fine, people do what they need to do to feel comfortable and that’s okay. But we also have to be open to the idea that hiding anything about ourselves whether it’s about our appearance or character, can lead to sticky situations later on with a potential romantic partner.
